Mai Lin Yong

Mai Lin has practised for over ten years in family law and is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a family law specialist. 

 

Before entering private practice, Mai Lin worked as a Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Joseph Kay in the Family Court of Australia (Appeals Division).

 

She went on to complete her articles in a suburban firm, working for almost ten years in family law, property law and wills and estates, before deciding to practice exclusively in family law.

 

Mai Lin practises across all areas of family law including: divorce, property settlement, spousal maintenance, parenting disputes and financial agreements.

 

She is committed to providing practical and realistic advice, working where necessary with other professionals to meet the individual needs of her clients.

 

Mai Lin previously served for several years as a volunteer and coordinator at the Darebin Community Legal Centre.

 

Mai Lin is a member of the Family Law Sections of the Law Institute of Victoria and the Law Council of Australia.
