Gemma commenced her legal career in a rural practice working in a variety of areas of law including Family, Crime, Wills & Estates and Conveyancing. She was admitted to practice in 2013, before moving to the city to practice exclusively in Family Law.
Gemma has been involved in several complex property matters and serious parenting disputes, including relocation matters. Given her country heritage, she has a particular interest in farming cases and appreciates the sensitivity that can come with disputes surrounding farming properties that have been owned by a family for generations.
Gemma prides herself on her preparation and attention to detail. She has an empathetic yet commercial approach when assisting clients to achieve a sensible and timely resolution.
